Special Afternoon with Butler Mascot Blue 2

As a lover of dogs and Indianapolis, Indiana resident, I’ve been familiar with Butler University’s lovable bull dog mascot, Blue 2, for many years.  Lately, he’s been getting a lot national notice due to Butler’s amazing run to the NCAA basketball tournament’s Final Four.  I was lucky enough to join my wife, Angie, for an afternoon with Blue 2 at Good Dog Hotel in Broad Ripple.  This is where Blue 2 goes just before getting on the plane to join the team for the Final Four.  While here, he has a meet and greet with several Indianapolis-area bull dogs, including Hugo, Angie and mine’s French bull dog.  Blue 2 is then treated to the ultimate spa day, where he is bathed, blow dried, and has his nails clipped.  It’s an honor to spend some time with this wonderful bull dog who has represented his school as well as the quality young men that make up the basketball team. 

Go Dawgs!  Bring it home this year.  We couldn’t be more proud of you!
