Infiniti Introduces “Self Healing” Paint
If you’re like me, no matter how hard you try to take care of your car’s finish, you eventually develop swirls in the paint and scratches by the door locks and handles. They are light scratches, but over time they dull the appearance of your vehicle.
One luxury import brand has found a solution to this annoying problem. Infiniti now uses a paint process that will actually “self heal” light scratches and swirl marks that don’t penetrate the clear coat. It is called “Scratch Shield Paint”. It is a heat-activated material that will make those light scratches go away, and keep your Infiniti looking as glossy and new as the day you bought it for years to come. This process is used on every Infiniti model, which can be seen at Dreyer and Reinbold Infiniti in Indianapolis.
